Sealing has a great deal to do with water. IMP water chemicals ensure consistently reliable conditions – no matter which water you use.
Water is a key part of every sealing process: from the washing bath to the rinsing bath to the hot cure bath. Our water chemicals improve the water quality, help prevent corrosion and surface deposits, and inhibit the unwanted hardening of resin residues. They therefore make a decisive contribution to good sealing results and make the water usable for longer periods.

This nitrite-free polymerisation inhibitor for methacrylate-based sealing systems
helps keep the hot cure bath free of sealant residues.
CTA 801 is a nitrite-free polymerisation inhibitor. It is designed for application in the hot cure bath of sealing systems that use methacrylate-based sealants.
CTA 801 helps to keep the hot water bath free of sealant residues. In combination with a water treatment system, appropriately treated hot water can even be used indefinitely.
CTA 801 is dosed into the hot water bath in proportion to the volume of sealant transferred to the water.
During the hardening phase, CTA 801 additionally protects the components from corrosion and tarnishing.
For more information on CTA 801, please see our technical data sheet. Furthermore, we will be happy to personally advise you on the use of CTA 801 and all other water chemicals made by IMP.

This neutral, multi-metal corrosion protection additive is designed for use in the initial filling of the hot cure bath
of a sealing system. It brings oxygen content, pH value, ion concentration, etc. more quickly into balance.
CTK Additive is a neutral, multi-metal corrosion protection additive. It is used once each time the hot cure bath is prepared in a sealing system.
CTK Additive speeds up the establishment of a stable chemical balance in terms of oxygen content, pH value, ion concentration, etc. It also makes the water usable for a longer period.
It improves corrosion protection for aluminium and iron and prevents sensitive metal alloys from tarnishing. CTK Additive shows its effectiveness when combined with CTK 200.
In addition to the information in our technical data sheet, we will be happy to advise you personally about the possible applications of our water chemicals.
